Parker solenoid valve coils convert electrical energy into linear motion. The solenoid coil consists of copper or aluminum that is wound around a hollow form (bobbin). When electrical current flows through the coil a magnetic field is created.

The Danfoss coil program consists of both the easy-to-handle, clip-on system and traditional coils with threaded fastener. Danfoss offer a wide range of application-specific coils for e.g. steam or hazardous areas. The coils are available with approvals such as EN60730-1, EEx/ATEX and UL.

Hansen solenoid valves utilize a one-size encapsulated, watertight solenoid valve coil. These solenoid coils are strong and efficient, requiring only 16 watts of power. All common voltages and frequencies are available. Solenoid valve coils are designed to operate from 85% to 110% of rated voltage. Pilot light assemblies are also available. The pilot light assemblies require no additional wiring.
