Developed by Insignia Technologies, DTXtape is a color-change carbon dioxide leak detection tape that turns from purple to yellow on direct contact with CO2 gas. Wrap it around any pipe joint, valve, fitting, flange, or access panel — if CO2 is escaping, the tape changes color in as little as 5 minutes. Once the leak clears, the tape resets to purple within 1 hour at room temperature and is ready to use again.

DTXtape detects CO2 concentrations as low as 3%, catching slow and intermittent leaks that handheld sniffers, pressure testing, and soap-and-water methods can miss. It complements fixed room monitors and existing detection protocols by adding continuous, passive, location-specific monitoring at every connection point — reducing diagnostic time once a leak is suspected or an alarm triggers.

Designed for commercial refrigeration and R-744 systems, pub cellars and draft beer keg lines, breweries and fermentation facilities, cold storage, food and beverage production, and laboratory gas supply lines. For indoor use only. Replace every 3 months in active use.
