("CVI") Model NZW Axial Flow Nozzle Check Valve (NZW) is a self-operating check valve designed to prevent the backflow of gas or liquid media. The valve permits flow in one direction while preventing flow in the other direction. Initial opening of the NZW’s disc begins when the upstream pressure of a pumping system exceeds the downstream pressure and the effective torque of the spring. This pressureis called the "cracking" pressure.
